How to protect your computer from online viruses

There are a lot of skeptics about virus protection for the home computer. Well what I have been noticing is that the PC computers are more venerable of catching a virus than its counter part, MAC computers. There are a number of virus protection software that can protect your computer from getting sick.

If you own a PC computer, and are worried about catching a virus, then installing an anti-virus protection is your best bet. You can use Norton Internet Security, MacAfee virus scan, and Sonic wall anti-Virus. When you decide to get protection for your computer, be sure and get a software that provides the essential protection from viruses, hackers, and privacy threats, parental control that will safeguard your personal information and your children when they are online.

Not all computer need to be protected from catching viruses online. I have been using a MAC computer for over ten years and have never install any virus protection, and have never had any problems from downloading files off the Internet. If you own a MAC computer you don't have any thing to worry about, but on the other hand owning a PC computer, that's a different story, you must be protected before going online.

When installing anti-virus protection software on a PC computer, it sometimes affects other programs on the computer from operating at their maximum capability. You sometimes have to disable the anti-virus software in order to complete your task. To be quite frankly, there isn't any anti-virus software that can really protect your computer from hackers, because if they want to hack your PC computer, no protection on the market can stop them from getting in.
